The E-TRENY project took part in ICT for Railways 2025, the international workshop dedicated to digital innovation and sustainability in rail transport.
During the event, the consortium presented the preliminary results of the measurement campaign carried out on Line 10 of the Madrid Metro, a key step in assessing the energy impact of railway systems in real operating conditions. These findings represent an important milestone for the project, supporting the development of innovative solutions aimed at improving energy efficiency and reducing environmental impact.
E-TRENY’s participation also provided an opportunity to share knowledge, strengthen cooperation with European partners, and explore pathways for the integration of ICT-based tools into the rail sector.
With this contribution, E-TRENY confirms its commitment to supporting the green and digital transition of European railways, in line with the objectives of sustainable mobility and the EU’s climate goals.
