RICERCA ALLA GRANDA
The event will take place in Cuneo from May 26 to 29, 2026, and aims to make the results of two European research projects accessible to the public, focusing on strategic topics such as energy efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in transport systems and electrical grids.
The program includes three technical sessions featuring researchers from various European countries, as well as an open workshop (May 27 2026) with broad and diverse participation. The workshop will promote and disseminate the results of the following European research projects:
- e-TRENY (“Metrology support for enhanced energy efficiency in DC transportation systems”, https://e-treny.eu/)
- ADMIT (“Characterisation of AC and DC MV instrument transformers in extended frequency range up to 150 kHz”, https://www.admit-project.eu/)
It will also highlight the activities of the European Research Network on Smart Electricity Grids (EMN – SEG).
This initiative will foster the dissemination of scientific knowledge and promote dialogue between research, industry, and society.

EMN – SEG Annual General Assembly
EURAMET Power and Energy Subcommittee Annual Meeting
For the first time in Cuneo (Italy), thanks to ‘Ricerca alla Granda’, the annual meetings of the main European organizations in electrical metrology will be hosted.
Cuneo will become a key hub for European electrical metrology as it hosts two major high-level meetings in the field. The event will bring together leading experts and institutions for the Annual General Meeting of the EMN-SEG (European Metrology Network for Smart Electricity Grids), alongside the annual meeting of the Power and Energy Subcommittee of EURAMET’s Technical Committee for Electricity and Magnetism (TC-EM).
These gatherings represent a unique opportunity to strengthen collaboration among Europe’s foremost metrology institutes and to advance research and standardization in smart electricity grids, power, and energy measurement.
